Purchased a new MKZ, took it for a car wash. Was surprised when the attendant presented me with a coupon for a free wash for a Veteran on Veteran's day! What a great idea. After going through the wash, I decided to vacuum as well. I noticed that the car wasn't dry, water was dripping from roof down the sides and back of the car. Took a towel and started to dry the car. Noticed that the back bumper still had road dust on it. Started to wipe down the passenger side and saw that the entire side of the car had been gouged, scratched and scraped. I notified the attendant, taking back the gift certificate. I said that the car had been damaged, and not only was I returning the gift certificate, (as I would not be giving this to anyone, and certainly not returning) and I would tell everyone I speak to about the damage to the car. The attendant asked if he could come out to see the damage. He acknowledged that the care had been damaged, and said, "gee, sorry" and went back inside the building. For a high tech, advanced car wash - I certainly am not impressed. A new car - damaged .
